‘Turtle and Snail’ to compete at Dhaka filmfest

Iranian movie ‘Turtle and Snail’ is scheduled to vie at the Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) in the Bangladesh.

The film directed by Reza Hamasi, will compete for the Best Audience award at the 2022 edition of the event.

“Pedram, 10, lives with his single mother, Afsaneh and has challenges with her. Afsaneh has decided to marry again but Pedram disagrees. Pedram gets to know a weird man and a sneaking friendship forms between them,” a synopsis of the film reads.

Renowned Iranian actor Ali Mosaffa stars in the film.

The Dhaka International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film events in Bangladesh.

The 20th edition of the DIFF will take place on January 15-23, 2022.
